Embed Audio / Video Tool

To place a video on your web site, we suggest adding the "Embed Audio/Video" tool to the page you intend to have your video on. From there, you can go to either Tangle (formerly GodTube), GospelTube, YouTube or Vimeo, etc and setup a free video service account. Those video services translate your video into a universal Flash format, which allows your video to be viewed from all the different browsers and platforms that users have. Most of these services require that the video be less than 10 minutes long (Vimeo may be the exception).

After you upload your video to one of these services, it will provide you with some "Embed on my website" html code that you can paste into the "Embed Audio/Video" tool on your website where it says “Paste Entire Code.”

Once your video is on a video service's servers and embedded on your website, it will stream very nicely (because it will be on a server specializing in video streaming) in a universal Flash format.

* IF you use YouTube, we recommend turning off the "Related Videos" options in the video properties after you upload it before copying your embedding code.  When you upload a video to YouTube, you can edit the way it appears on your site before copying the embed code... Just click to view the video and click the "Embed" button right under the video to customize your code. Then you can turn off the "Include Related Videos" box. You can also Adjust the size, Add a color border, select “Enable Privacy-Enhanced Mode (read more about that by clicking the question mark next to it – we don’t feel it’s necessary, but you can do this if desired). Once you have the settings you like, THEN copy the full Embed code near the top and add that to your site with us.

We recommend adding the Embed code to the “Embed Audio/Video” tool in Faithwebsites, but it can be added in a Text/Graphic Editor as well. Just click the “Source” button in the upper left corner of the editor before pasting in the code.
