Our Prayer Request tool is a pre-built interactive form and submission process designed for allowing online prayer request submissions and, if desired, public posting.
To begin, designate a page or section of a page that you want to build the prayer request section on your site. Keep in mind that if you are going to post the requests on your site (provided your user requests that), your page will be expanded based on the number of posts.
Select the "Prayer Request" from the tool drop down menu and click Add. The Update Prayer Request Properties screen will appear. This is where you will create what your site visitors see at the beginning of the section, where the requests will be emailed to after submission and what the user will receive after they complete a prayer request submission.
The top section, "Text to Appear Above List of Requests" is where you will enter your introductory content for the Prayer Request section. We recommend telling your visitors that they will be given the choice of whether or not to have their requests published on the website.
Next, enter one or more email addresses that you want the submitted prayer requests to go to.
The last text editor on this properties form is the content for the auto-email, an email sent to the person submitting the prayer request.
At the bottom of the page is the CAPTCHA Protection box, which is checked by default. It is highly recommended that you keep this protection on, as this is the best way to minimize spam being sent via this form.
Click "Save" and you have your Prayer Request page setup and ready to go!
